About Us

RTGSA Mission

Rancho Trabuco Girls Softball Association (RTGSA) is a volunteer driven, California non-profit public benefit corporation, serving female athletes ages 5 to 15 and their families. RTGSA's goals, objectives and mission include the following:

  • To teach, conduct and promote ASA Junior Olympic Softball in Rancho Santa Margarita and surrounding communities in south Orange County, California.
  • To provide a fun, instructional and safe environment for girls to learn and enjoy the game of softball regardless of skill level.
  • To teach not only girls softball fundamentals, but good sportsmanship, team participation, respect for teammates, opponents, coaches and officials, and other life skills that develop good character and citizenship in our community.
  • To be well represented by teams of player participants in interleague play as well as local and regional tournaments.

Our success in achieving these objectives is largely measured by how many players return year after year, and whether our girls learn to enjoy the game of softball.
