Many of us are close with the Spooner Family, whose daughter Raelyn (Spoons) is in our program and Dad, Rick who has coached for years. Raelyn’s two sisters, Cali and Ryann, live with a rare genetic disease called Mitochondrial Complex I Deficiency. They have cognitive delays, struggle with motor control, and depend on adults for everything. Many of us have gotten to know Cali & Ryann as they watched from the sidelines with parents Rick and Cristy cheering on Raelyn’s team..
Cali and Ryann will be participating in an upcoming event called the Especially Beautiful Fashion Show, where they and other special needs children will model clothes to raise money for medical research at UC Irvine. Raelyn is so excited for her sisters to walk the catwalk on February 25!
The Spooner Family invites the RTGSA community to attend the Especially Beautiful Fashion Show, and help support life-changing medical research.
